During the fourth day of his visit to USA (Thursday, 4th October), the President Rolandas Paksas met with Al Larson, head of the non-governmental anticorruption organization Transparency International USA in Washington, the Republican and Congress member Pete King, and Linas Kojelis, the director of the U.S.-Baltic Foundation. President R. Paksas was also talking with the media representatives, namely the journalists of the newspaper "Chicago Tribune" and the Lithuanian-American Radio.

President R. Paksas came to Washington and started the second part of his visit to America. He met with the U.S. Congress members Dennis Kucinich and Carolyn Maloney. Moreover, he visited Kennan Institute to Wilson Centre, where he met Blair Ruble, director of this institute.
