After a 4-hour flight from Gijor, Hungary, the pilots topped off the tour of 47 days, which required both great professional technique and extraordinary physical and spiritual efforts.
Pilots at Kyviškės Airfield were welcomed not only by their close relatives, friends of political groups or airfields, but also a crowd of people that from the very start of the flight on 10 June awaited the news and kept worrying and living out for diverse obstacles and difficulties that were faced by the pilots during this tour.
After getting out on the wing, first of all, Rolandas Paksas hang out the flag of Lithuania that travelled all over the world. Later on, both pilots attached the Lithuania tricolour to the fuselage of the plane and the fresh wind was streaming the flag during the whole hour of the cosy and warm meeting of the pilots.
The march, well-matched words, oak wreaths, songs, flowers and wonderful mood - the majority of people unwillingly broke up from the airfield even after when the plane SM-2000 "Phoenix" was wheeled into the hangar and the pilots left to get rest.
